Where it ranks in wp.org search
Main keywords, best position first
- #1 economic
- #11 stock market Down 1
- #12 financial news Up 2
- #23 market Down 4
Tags still to break into the top 24: finance, financial, news.
What to fix first
- 1
Set "Tested up to" to WordPress 7.1
No "Tested up to" declared, treated as a major version behind. Matching the current branch keeps its full search weight.
- 2
“finance” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “market” sits at #23 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

Readme fails 2 of 8 AI readiness checks
OpportunityAI assistants recommend what they can quote. Failing: names who it is for and headings and lists. One audience phrase ("if you want"); say who the plugin is for and what they use it for.
What to do: Rewrite the readme so each failed check passes: say the job in the first line, answer real questions in the FAQ, name who it is for and what it works with, and use headings and lists. For the same check on your plugin's own website, run the free AI visibility scan from AgentVania.
