Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

low confidence

Est. annual revenue

≈$520 range $150–$1.8K

Est. acquisition value

≈$1.5K range $300–$7.2K

A small install base leaves thin data to model from. The recent download trend is too spiky to read. The range spans more than 10x because wp.org publishes install counts as broad bands, and conversion and price compound on top. Read the midpoint as an order of magnitude, not a valuation.

How we estimate this

Assumptions

  • Free → paid conversion. 0.5%–2% of active installs pay for the pro tier. Typical for freemium WordPress plugins; the real rate varies a lot by product.
  • Annual price per customer. $49–$129 a year, typical for WordPress plugins rather than this plugin's own pricing.
  • Acquisition multiple. 2x–4x annual revenue, the going range for small WordPress-plugin businesses, the typical range for a steady plugin.
  • Install base. 600–700 active installs, from our install estimate (wp.org only publishes the floor).

Revenue is installs × conversion × price; value is revenue × a typical acquisition multiple. Every factor is an assumption band, so the output is a wide range on purpose. If you're buying or selling, treat this as a starting point for due diligence.

Is this a supported plugin? I submitted a question via the developer’s ticketing system after purchasing the pro version and have yet to receive a response. I’m concerned about moving forward if the developer is no longer offering support or updates. It’s exactly what I need and I hope that the developer see this review and eases my concerns. Thank you!

I want to purchase the Pro version but am unable to access your website. Is there still a way to buy the Pro version, and how can I do so?

I am editing my rating. Support has been more active and helpful. The plugin seems to work well but has some bugs that I will report to them. Support is terrible. No clue how the product is because I can’t get any questions answered. This topic was modified 2 years, 8 months ago by itguy1024. Reason: Update

This plugin is just what I needed, it works right out of the box and yet very easy to customize. I’ll definitely upgrade to pro, along with getting a few addons. Not bad at all!

After testing out the plug in for a few days, I noticed some minor issues. After shooting a quick email to CodeBangers, a response quickly followed (within a few hours). Nick with CodeBangers rapidly looked into the issues and resolved them. Normally with every other developer I have worked with, a few days to weeks were expected for a resolution. Not with CodeBangers it seems like instant responses. I would highly recommend any of their plugins/themes/anything just due to the rapid help they provide. The key to providing good customer service with any software because issues are bound to pop up. This company has gone above and beyond with our small business. I have full confidence if we ever need any custom work done, I will choose this group. This topic was modified 7 years, 10 months ago by loganwatson.
