Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from. The recent download trend is too spiky to read.

Reviewers rate it as the best charting option on WordPress, with the output quality worth the JS learning curve it asks for up front.

As a standalone JS chart library, Amcharts is one of the best there is – powerful, logically organized, and remarkably stable. This plugin is essentially a shortcode generator – you still need to write all the chart code in JS. It has a lot of moving parts – the upside is you can do anything you want. And while the docum is extensive and well-organized, it’s still a steep learning curve (at least, for me). I hung in there and I’m glad I did – nothing in the WP ecosystem comes even close to what Amcharts can do.

Yes, you need to work a little harder to get things going than with other plugins, but the output is so much better! I can’t imagine a diagram that can’t be done with Amworks. Keep up the great work 🙂

I have used this plugin almost 7 years ago and that time I was stacked for somewhere and I asked for help, plugin author @martynasma helped me. I was very glad to him but I forgot to review. This 5 star for you. Thanks man.

Have used Amcharts for my static sites. Briliiantly designed. Same concepts applied here for WordPress. However, since the charts are defined using JS and Amcharts object lib, there is a definite learning curve. This topic was modified 4 years, 7 months ago by imincognito.

I used the free version of this at first, was able to create the chart and most importantly, use the dataloader to load some REST API web services I had created. They look and feel good, and the users really dig the charts!
