Biggest opportunity: Swap “gallery” and “image gallery” for “flickr” and “live”. “gallery” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “flickr” sits at #11 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “image gallery” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “live” sits at #24 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →0.7%
of downloads still active
At least 1K of 147.3K lifetime downloads are still running, in line with its category: the median Media plugin keeps 0.8%, across 2,321 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Media plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 2 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Reviewer account pattern
from wp.org reviewer profiles6 of the last 10 four- and five-star reviews came from accounts created within a month of posting the review.
Registering a wp.org account just to leave a review is common and often entirely legitimate. The share here is unusually high for the sample, so it's worth keeping in mind while reading the reviews.

The Animated Live Wall plugin has introduced a very useful feature to our site that allows us to easily preview multiple images to our users at once. It’s coding was executed with great precision and is incredibly user-friendly.

The Flickr feed only asks for the key, not the secret. So the plugin never even has access to your account and doesn’t work. The instagram feed doesn’t work at all. Support is in India so you wake up to emails instead of going back and forth in real time. There’s no person to chat or talk to. And they asked for admin access. I’m NOT giving admin access to anyone I don’t know. The plugin is supposed to work without you having admin access to my site. Requested refund. Never got it.

Features which were listed in the Pro version turned out to be woefully inadequate. Really wasn’t worth upgrading so I requested a refund via the contact form, which was ignored.
