High removal-risk signals
63/100Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.
- Long abandoned. No update in 11+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
- Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 4.2.39, well behind 6.8.

Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.
Release cadence
No release in a yearHow often this plugin actually ships. A steady rhythm is the maintenance signal a single "last updated" date can't show.

Estimated value
What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.
Est. annual revenue
Est. acquisition value
No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

Simple and great. Other minify is bad when compared with this!

It’s easy to use, even for complex websites. So I love it.

I’ve tried six different minify plugins and they all crashed my website(s) so I was happy when this one didn’t hurt anything. I don’t see that it is making a significant improvement so I lowered my rating to a 4.

Thank you for a easy set up plugin. Been trying to minify and combine using W3 Total Cache for a while and gave up with its minify function. I am not saying W3 Total Cache is a bad plugin, it is not. This plugin just makes the job far easier for minifying & combining. There is still work to do to identity those styles & scripts that need excluding. I don’t know if this can be made easier by some how allowing the plugin to list the styles & scripts, and then checking those styles & scripts to not include after you’ve identified the excluders.

I’ve been trying to use the minify feature of the W3 Total Cache plugin and struggled with it for years. Had to manually exclude many scripts and styles (particularly those related to WooCommerce and GravityForms) to prevent the minification from breaking my website. Then I tried AssetsMinify and it pretty much simply worked. I did have some small issues getting it to pick up all of my CSS and JS assets, but that was minor and the most important thing is that the resulting combined/minified .css and .js did work. The code of the plugin is easy to understand and well-written. Great work!

Uncheck Compress styles and delete your caches and reload the page if this isn’t working for you. I’d suggest to the author this is unchecked by default upon install to prevent negative reviews! Works great and does not fail the Remove query strings from static resources test on GTMetrix like Better WP minify!
