How it's measured →1.2%
of downloads still active
At least 70 of 5.7K lifetime downloads are still running, in line with its category: the median AI plugin keeps 1.4%, across 1,011 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other AI plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 11 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

Directory rank
Ranked about #18,200 to #19,000, alongside the other plugins at 70+ installs. Plugins with the same install count swap places between wp.org requests, so this is where most of them sit. Checked monthly, last on 1 Nov 2026.
Update activity
Downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites.
Not enough installs to measure. This needs at least 100 active sites; below that, a handful of downloads reads as tens of thousands.

The public count shows “70+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.
Crossed into this band 23 days ago and a band this size takes about a year or more to cross, so the real count is still just over 70.

A very comprehensive AI plugin for fast, high-quality text generation, and above all, very fast and helpful support! Excellent!

I’ve stumbled upon this plugin a few days ago. Overall, it’s been a useful addition to my content workflow. What I appreciate most is that it’s built directly into WordPress, so I don’t have to jump between different tools when I’m working on blog posts. I usually use ChatGPT and Claude for content creation, but this plugin is doing it all in the dashboard und editor, sparing the copy & paste and styling issues. This can be all done in the editor. The AI isn’t perfect (no tool is), but it has different modes for content creation workflows with standard settings and I can save my own prompts in templates for future articles. It still needs a bit of human editing, but that’s expected. If you do a lot of writing in WordPress and want something to speed things up or give you a fresh perspective on your drafts, Assistini is worth checking out. Just don’t expect it to do all the work for you but it’s more of a helper than a magic button.
