Biggest opportunity: “astrology” isn't earning a slot. You list it, but you're not in the first 24 results for that search. WordPress.org counts only your first five tags, so free the slot for a search you can win.
Not scored yet. Nobody has reviewed this plugin, so a grade would come from directory averages rather than from anything measured here.
Install conversion
How it's measured →2.9%
of downloads still active
At least 500 of 17.5K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Uncategorized plugin keeps 0.6%, across 17,785 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Uncategorized plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 2 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

How it's tracked →Directory searches this plugin turns up in, and which way each one is moving. WordPress.org publishes no history of search positions, so this starts the day we first tracked a keyword and never backfills.
Not enough tracked days yet to call a direction. Momentum needs at least three keywords measured a week or more apart.
wp.org is where the directory puts the plugin for that search. On merit is where it would sit if results were ranked on rating, support and updates, without the install boost. The last column is how far the wp.org position moved, from our first reading in the last 90 days to the latest.
| Keyword | wp.org | On merit | wp.org move, 90 days |
|---|---|---|---|
| astrology your tag | Not in the top 24 | ||
| prokerala your tag | Not checked yet | ||
1 search this plugin appeared in over the last 90 days, 0 listed. 1 left out as unrelated or noise (years, numbers, stray words). 1 of its tags isn't in the top 24 for their own search.

Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Reviewer account pattern
from wp.org reviewer profiles9 of the last 10 four- and five-star reviews came from accounts created within a month of posting the review, and 9 of those landed between 2025-07-11 and 2025-07-26.
Registering a wp.org account just to leave a review is common and often entirely legitimate. The share here is unusually high for the sample, so it's worth keeping in mind while reading the reviews.

When I first installed the plugin, the location field wasn’t working as expected. I contacted support and they pointed out I needed to add my site’s URL correctly to the authorized JavaScript origins in my API dashboard. Once I did that, everything worked perfectly. Appreciate the quick guidance!

I used shortcodes to add different astrology features to my site, and the available attributes made it easy to customize things like chart style and language. The plugin documentation clearly explained how to use each option, so I could set it up just the way I wanted.

I’ve integrated several Vedic astrology features like Kundli, charts, etc on my website. The results are accurate and consistent, which helps a lot when I’m sharing it to my users and preparing content based on them. It’s been reliable so far.

I was trying to add the natal chart using the block editor but couldn’t find the option. However, the support team helped by pointing me to the right shortcode and also updated the plugin to include Western charts in the block list. Really appreciate that!

I have been using Prokerala Astrology plugin, for Vedic, Western and Numerology features, and need to say, the accuracy of the results is impressive. It was also very easy to install and they have also provided a video tutorial to make the process much easier.

I wanted to add daily horoscope predictions to my astrology blog, and Prokerala’s plugin worked perfectly. The tutorial video had clear step-by-step instructions, and it was easy to follow even for someone like me without much technical knowledge. Really happy with it!
