Biggest opportunity: “embed”, “feed” and “listings” aren't earning a slot. You list them, but you're not in the first 24 results for those searches. WordPress.org counts only your first five tags, so free the slot for a search you can win.

Install conversion
How it's measured →0.9%
of downloads still active
At least 1K of 109.7K lifetime downloads are still running, in line with its category: the median Content & Feeds plugin keeps 0.8%, across 864 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Content & Feeds plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 4 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

Search visibility
How it's tracked →Directory searches this plugin turns up in, and which way each one is moving. WordPress.org publishes no history of search positions, so this starts the day we first tracked a keyword and never backfills.
Not enough tracked days yet to call a direction. Momentum needs at least three keywords measured a week or more apart.
wp.org is where the directory puts the plugin for that search. On merit is where it would sit if results were ranked on rating, support and updates, without the install boost. The last column is how far the wp.org position moved, from our first reading in the last 90 days to the latest.
| Keyword | wp.org | On merit | wp.org move, 90 days |
|---|---|---|---|
| auction | #3 | #3 | 0 |
| ebay your tag | #5 | #4 | 0 |
| ebay auction | #2 | #2 | — |
| wordpress auction | #3 | #3 | — |
| auction plugin | #3 | #3 | — |
| embed your tag | Not in the top 24 | ||
| feed your tag | Not in the top 24 | ||
| listings your tag | Not in the top 24 | ||
| store your tag | Not in the top 24 | ||
12 searches this plugin appeared in over the last 90 days, 5 listed. 7 left out as unrelated or noise (years, numbers, stray words). 4 of its tags aren't in the top 24 for their own search.
What to do about it
- “embed”, “feed” and “listings” aren't earning a slot. You list them, but you're not in the first 24 results for those searches. WordPress.org counts only your first five tags, so free the slot for a search you can win.
- Already on top for “auction”. #3 without listing it. A tag would change little there; your slots are better spent on a search you don't yet win.

Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

This is definitely a 5 star plugin. Would like to see the ability to add products to the listing that are not pulled from Ebay ie a private sale through Woo Commerce

The plugin itself is brilliant, but is there a way to remove the above text: “Ad Clicking an item will take you to eBay, who may pay a referral commission if a purchase is made.” After obtaining several opinions from friends and customers, the inscription itself is a bit discouraging, not to say “scares away”, some people thinking that they will pay more than they should. Or is there a way to hide it on the page?

After trying out a couple of more sophisticated plugins that didn’t work very well, I found it easier to just use eBay and display it on my website using Auction Nudge. It’s a great idea and requires very little development knowledge.
