No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

Reviewer account pattern

from wp.org reviewer profiles

8 of the last 12 four- and five-star reviews came from accounts created within a month of posting the review.

Registering a wp.org account just to leave a review is common and often entirely legitimate. The share here is unusually high for the sample, so it's worth keeping in mind while reading the reviews.

I made this account just to write this review. Highly underrated plug-in, in my opinion. Has all the features you want — it can attach to all posts or pages, or you can manually check a box of specific posts and pages in the editor. The format is clean, and you can change the color (black works for me). You can also turn off floating button, so that users don’t have to see the audio bar as they scroll down the page. The reading is good quality. It’s amazing how far the technology has come.. It would definitely be nice to have some more options for the voice, since that voice becomes the voice of your blog. The guy isn’t bad, but could be better. My biggest concern was that this might slow down my site. Subjectively, it didn’t seem to do so a lot. The widget typically takes longer than the page to load, especially if the page is long. However, the page is accessible as soon as it loads. And the page did not seem to load slower. I did a bunch of speed tests for an hour using online tools with the widget on/off. The results seemed to be about the same. However, I’d be curious what an expert might say about it. Simplicity here is at its finest. I really do think audio is a big asset since a lot of people don’t like reading and/or can listen to content while they do other activities. My only concern is about speed (the results of my tests notwithstanding), and it would be nice to have more voices to choose from. This is the best free text-to-voice plugin that I have come across… It’s not that I wouldn’t be willing to pay some money for that right solution, but many of the bigger ones would be ridiculously expensive for a small blog. And they charge recurrent fees. Altogether, a very intriguing concept, and I just wanted to say thanks to the developer and keep up the good work for providing this free tool.

Generally speaking, lightweight software is the way to go. This is a simple plugin that does exactly what it claims. Install and configuration was simple. I did have some trouble ensuring the the FAB stayed above my content in the display, and I had to tweak the z-index for some of my content. It was frustrating, but I believe the problem was with my theme, not with the plugin.

Deberían avisar que sólo está en idioma inglés, no es la única lengua del mundo! Además, no funciona con una página o post editada con elementor.

Small footprint, simple/easy to use design and flawless execution! Well done. Highly recommended. I never dreamt that I could have text to speech on my own website that not only is totally PRO in quality, but free! My only one tiny request is that users are able to edit the text beside the play/pause button – currently it says “Listen now” but it would be nice (for me) to say “Listen to this article”. Super small issue, just a wish for future iterations of this great plugin!

There are many such plugins available, I tried at least 5-7 different option. Audiate has no hidden paywall or any kind of limit, which is great. The most important I found their AI really smart & the voice is also pleasing.
