   After I couldn’t get the popular Easy Updates Manager plugin working, I looked for an alternative, and then found Advanced Automatic Updates. The plugin perfectly works, and even updates premium themes’ plugins (not only WordPress.org plugins). Sadly the email update notifications doesn’t work just yet, and having a log of completed updates would also be useful.

   DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS PLUGING IT JUST SIMPLY DOES NOT WORK. After years of solid functionality, the plug-in is broken. It fails to update anything on any of the 15-20 sites I have it on. I have reported this in the support forum, over 3 months ago. Silence. DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS PLUGING IT JUST SIMPLY DOES NOT WORK.
