Removal-risk signals

53/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 4+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Falling behind WordPress. Tested up to WordPress 6.0.14.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

Plugin works well. Can it be configured to work with 1 page? Without it splitting.

After updating to WordPress 5.5 a custom function that automated pagination broke on all sites. Thankfully this plugin makes it extraordinarily easy to have automated page breaks along with an unexpected feature called “Approximate words per page”. It even worked with other custom code. Something that would benefit anyone who either wants to break up large pages or load other things like maps into tabs.

“Automatically Paginate Posts” is the easiest, non gimmicky Numeric Pagination WordPress Plugin. I know I have used it before, and was getting frustrated not finding it; and trying all the other free and paid plugins without the same a couple clicks simple pagination. – Plugin can set numeric links/buttons to 10 pages in total. – Plugin can split the page by words [I love it!] – Easy, straight forward plugin Thank you for the plugin.
