Biggest opportunity: Swap “bbpress widget” and “bbpress login” for “forget password” and “register”. “bbpress widget” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #17. “forget password” sits at #16 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “bbpress login” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #11. “register” sits at #24 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

of downloads still active
At least 600 of 68.4K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Login & Users plugin keeps 0.7%, across 1,481 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Login & Users plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.

What to do about it
- Swap “bbpress widget” and “bbpress login” for “forget password” and “register”.
- One page off on “bbpress login”. #11 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.

Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.
What its installed base runs

The free version could not be translated. So I purchased the Pro version, as it promised translation capability. In the pro version, (1) translation did not work either (2) the settings menu disappeared. (3) All WordPress roles except Administrator got the rights of Members. Contributor, Author, and Editor can only do what a Member can do. Disappointing. Do not recommend.

The developers quickly responded to a problem I had with this plugin (it clashed with my theme) and told me how to solve it. Excellent support for a very useful plugin. Thank you all very much.

I needed a simple UI for my members to access BBPress and this works really well. Thanks!

Yes, it includes the links for login, register, and forgot, which is convenient. However, it does not take the current login state into consideration. So the links are presented even to users who are already logged in. It would also be good for the login to redirect back to the page it came from.
