   That this plugin’s functionality isn’t incorporated into bbPress is completely unbelievable. The entire rest of the online world, FB, Twitter, etc., all list the most recent replies first. THANK YOU to SandyRig for this awesome addition to an undeniably great forum (but one that needs to consider the average end user’s instincts a bit more).

   Really needed this so replies to topics have the latest, current and relevant first. Appears to work on WordPress 4.3 ok. One small niggle is that when linking to a reply the #tag numbered post link appears to have an extra folder in the link so it needs to be manually amended if creating a hyperlink to a particular reply. No biggie though…

   It’s great to find a plugin that actually moves bbPress forward as a product. All over the internet are stale forums where you have to wade through pages and pages of comments just to find the latest goings-on, sometimes years later than the orignial topic. By moving latest comments to the top IMHO it keeps the conversation alive, and will be more encouraging for readers to post something. With this simple plugin, for those that want it bbPress moves from the dark ages of internet 1.0 to a more modern “freshest first” concept.
