How it's measured →2.1%
of downloads still active
At least 500 of 24K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Uncategorized plugin keeps 0.6%, across 17,770 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Uncategorized plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
High removal-risk signals
63/100Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.
- Long abandoned. No update in 13+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
- Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 3.6.1, well behind 6.8.

How it's tracked →Directory searches this plugin turns up in, and which way each one is moving. WordPress.org publishes no history of search positions, so this starts the day we first tracked a keyword and never backfills.
Not enough tracked days yet to call a direction. Momentum needs at least three keywords measured a week or more apart.
wp.org is where the directory puts the plugin for that search. On merit is where it would sit if results were ranked on rating, support and updates, without the install boost. The last column is how far the wp.org position moved, from our first reading in the last 90 days to the latest.

I used this plugin today and works good. It is a solution which I need. But last update 9 years ago. For security can be problem? This topic was modified 3 years, 4 months ago by 3dbyte.

I like to keep my forums open to all, but spam is an obvious problem. This bbPress addition does exactly what it promises and helps me combat spam.

Does exact what it promises. It was easy to to modify the plugin to my needs( eg “new” instead of “>” ), hiding “mark as read” when no user is logged aso. Thanks a lot for this plugin ! Best regards, Christian

Really does the job, but approval process and options needs to be refined. Would be great to be able to bulk approve comments, allow certain roles permission to not be moderated, one click approval function on the topic page. With a bit more input this would be really great!

I want to like this, but 1) approving is too much of a hassle, you have to click on the post to go to post edit screen, then publish. There should be a bulk, or a quick publish when you hover over title. Also, I don’t want this to moderate people who have commented in the past. In the options, there is this: Do not moderate (check or uncheck box) A topic or reply by a previously approved author I have tried both checked and unchecked, and it still holds in moderation replies by previously approved authors…. So I have gone on to disactivate this plugin. Especially because I will be in vacation and need the forum replies to flow without this issue. However, I want to like it and make it work well for anonymous posts.
