No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

I installed every single plugin that has the tag “POPIA” attached to it and found that this plugin is the ONLY one that DOES MAKE YOU Compliant. The free version has a CHECKLIST included and if you follow this carefully you should be POPIA Compliant. I myself do not have the time to implement all the requirements on the list, so I decided to try out the PRO version. It took me 20 minutes (not 15 as advertised) to set up my entire compliance for my website! I was also amazed to see how thoroughly it was thought through. There were many things that I did not think of despite having read the entire act. Don’t fall for the other supposed POPIA Compliant Plugins, they don’t make you POPIA Compliant!!! I don’t know why, but everyone seems to think when placing a cookie banner on their website, they think they are now POPIA Compliant… Furthermore what is even more ridiculous, is the fact that cookie banner plugins… I won’t call names, think it is OKAY to further exploit this belief by advertising their plugins as being POPIA Compliant. I found the free version of Be POPIA Compliant extremely helpful to understand what needs to be done to be compliant to South Africa's POPIA act through their checklist. The footer automatically appears on website, so no need to build a pop up. This said, I'm sure it would take me days to implement, so I was please to see that It took me less than 15 minutes to do all of this by simply using the Premium version. The premium version generates all the required documentation and forms on your behalf which I highly recommend. Be POPIA Compliant plunging will in future also be handling deletion of personal data so you would not have to do it on your own. I have gone thru all plugins compatible with WordPress/ Woocommerce and found the best one to be Be POPIA Compliant for South Africa POPIA Act.
