Removal-risk signals

51/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 13+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • No tested-up-to version. The listing declares no "Tested up to" version.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated active installs

The public count shows “10+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

Hi – this plugin is WAY Cool – Thank YOU! … it works great out of the box although my child theme had scroll bars introduced in the what’s new post section – e.g., the counter of words or characters remaining impacted the div overflow but once i added the css rule (see below) everything looked like it did before … as fyi in the recommendation depts … i would love to see the addition of a text option to append or prepend the text counter in the #whats-new-limit number shown … e.g., adding text before or after the number like “140 Characters remaining” might be helpful to newbies not sure of what the number means or if it is counting words or characters … i couldn’t figure out how do accomplish this by hacking the code and my css solution was fixed – meaning if i added this style "#whats-new-limit:before { content: "Characters remaining: " } then that was always showing even when the whats new box was empty … thus i could not figure out how to make it conditional and show the prepended text only when the activity box was opened / focused … but i digress … regardless, kudos to great plugin – thank you! cordially, chuck scott =========== Added this to my child theme style.css and voila – looks and works great: =========== #buddypress #whats-new-options { overflow: visible !important; height: 40px !important; } this helped override the default buddypress.css that wanted overflow = auto (hence the scrolls) …

Thank you for your great work, as I see it’s been updated some time ago, I just hope you keep it in mind cuz the few downloads doesn’t mean a low level of quality for that really useful plugin. I’ll work on a french translation if you need it and Ill send it to you ASAP. Thxs again emilien
