Removal-risk signals

51/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 15+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • No tested-up-to version. The listing declares no "Tested up to" version.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

Upon activation, I was lucky to keep my main screen on the WP Plugin Dashboard…while I tested this on another browser. When I refreshed on the testing browser…not even the home page would pull up. It was like everything was fully blocked. When I deactivated it, everything went back to normal. Uninstalled this. Did not work in a friendly way. Recently had my site crash due to stuff like this…am not taking another chance. Although I might be able to figure it out with the codes of line…its too much trouble. Am going to search for another solution.

This is no “one click” plugin and the setup is not very intuitive. If you know you way with a bit of php though, you get a stable and powerful solution.
