High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 8+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 4.9.31, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

Unique feature and very useful. As of Version 1.0 the plugin has an issue with mixed content (it uses http when on an https site) and could reference a minified css for better optimization.

Any chance this will ever be updated? This is exactly the functionality I’m looking for, but it’s the only plugin that seems like it once offered it…

Hi Curtiss Grymala, Great plugin! I like your plugin so much that I am installing an older version of WP because 4.8.2. breaks it. Do you plan an update to this plugin sometime nearby, so that it will be compatible with the latest versions of WordPress? Thank you, Emo

It has some limitations, but overall I love it! It makes my site much sleeker and user friendly. I really like the ability to have multiple instances of it to hold different widgets, because it sizes itself based on the height of the widget. So if you stack a bunch of widgets into it, and one is super long, there will be a lot of empty space under the shorter widgets. I hope that makes sense. But having multiple instances of it allows me to store widgets of similar size. Overall, this plugin has made me very happy!

Hi Curtiss Grymala, Great plugin! I wanted to use this plugin in one of my own site which has WordPress version 3.8.3. Do we have an update to this plugin sometime nearby? So that it will be compatible with the latest versions of WordPress? Note: I have rated this plugin because of its existence. There aren’t many plugins out there which can do what this plugin does. Thanks! Sumesh M.S
