Biggest opportunity: Swap “link building” and “seo” for “backlink” and “exchange”. “link building” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “backlink” sits at #6 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “seo” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “exchange” sits at #17 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →0.2%
of downloads still active
At least 40 of 17.1K lifetime downloads are still running, below its category: the median SEO plugin keeps 1.2%, across 1,193 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other SEO plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 7 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

Directory rank
Ranked about #21,400 to #22,800, alongside the other plugins at 40+ installs. Plugins with the same install count swap places between wp.org requests, so this is where most of them sit. Checked monthly, last on 21 Oct 2026.
Update activity
Downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites.
Not enough installs to measure. This needs at least 100 active sites; below that, a handful of downloads reads as tens of thousands.
Release cadence

What its installed base runs
via wordpress.orgShare of active installs on each version of this plugin · 35% run the current release. Green is the current release; a big slice on older versions is a user base that has stopped updating.
Estimated active installs
The public count shows “40+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.
Crossed into this band today and a band this size takes about a year or more to cross, so the real count is still just under 50.

I am having PHP errors while installation and whitescreen for once. Tried via FTP and it worked. But seems like my site’s current plugin conflicts with this one. It tends to be a revolutionary plugin, but couldn’t manage to use it on my site sarpo.net This topic was modified 3 years, 5 months ago by Yui. Installed it and WordPress detected errors from the plugin. Also, can’t get registered for API Key. So this plugin should be removed from here. Clearly isn’t been supported since the last update was almost a year ago. Too bad though, I think the concept is a great idea.
