Biggest opportunity: “block” isn't earning a slot. You list it, but you're not in the first 24 results for that search. WordPress.org counts only your first five tags, so free the slot for a search you can win.

4.8%

of downloads still active

At least 200 of 4.2K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Blocks plugin keeps 2.1%, across 1,577 plugins.

Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Blocks plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.

This is absolutely perfect for what I needed! Nice light plugin, slider looks neat with good customisation options, and ensured I could get my site displaying exactly as I want it in dark mode. I didn’t find it clear from the plugin description how the plugin works, so it might be useful to add a direct link to the readme file where you can find that information github[dot]com/richtabot/dark-mode-toggle-block/blob/main/README.md This topic was modified 1 year, 3 months ago by Steven Stern (sterndata). I have tried many dark mode toggle plugins, this is one of the best and easiest plugin to work with. Just install it and add the block where ever you want. As simple as that. Thank you.
