Biggest opportunity: Swap “tasks” and “dashboard widget” for “list” and “dashboard widgets”. “tasks” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “list” sits at #13 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “dashboard widget” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #22. “dashboard widgets” sits at #21 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →

3.7%

of downloads still active

At least 1K of 26.7K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Admin & Utilities plugin keeps 0.6%, across 4,189 plugins.

Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Admin & Utilities plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.

This plugin shipped 3 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

Absolutely useful. It helps me so much to keep track of “stuff that needs to be done”. For the first time the Dashboard has become somewhat useful. 🙂

Nice plugin. I just wanted something basic to write notes to myself in the Dashboard. This plugin does exactly what it says. Thank you for this! 🙂

I love this plugin, perfect to help creating websites! It would be great to choose left or right position and why not randomize the list order to improve productivity and add checkbox.

great plugin for developers/contentmanagers. Would be perfect if the textarea is set at 100% instead of 55 cols… on my screen it doesn’t align well, but otherwise, perfect.
