   I was a bit unsure so I asked Claude AI!Things worth noting: New and small plugin. Under 10 active installations, last updated three weeks ago, no reviews yet. That doesn’t mean it’s dangerous, but it hasn’t had time to catch many eyes in practical operation. The developer “WPExtent” has a wordpress.org profile, which is a good sign – plugins on wordpress.org are reviewed upon submission and the code is open in the SVN repo for anyone to inspect.The code I reviewed is consistent with what I’ve already said: sanitized input, nonce/capability checks, no external calls, safe handling of OPTIMIZE TABLE. Considering it’s from the official directory, I’d say it’s safe to install, with the same standard precautions as with any new/small plugin: Take a database backup before using the cleanup buttons (deletions of orphaned data, spam comments, etc. cannot be undone). Feel free to test on one of your less critical sites before running it on your main domain. In conclusion: yes, I would dare to install it.
