   The customer service at DesignNBuy is just atrocious. Sales people are extremely aggressive and rude. Few of the 5 star ratings on here are Indian people with Indian IP addresses that are probably family or friends of the stakeholders of the business. The plugin itself is decent, far from the best… but it doesn’t matter if the customer service sucks. Usually the service is great BEFORE the sale and then diminish once they get your money, but these guys suck from the get go. If you need a simple plug and play solution, then Designo may work perfectly for you. But if you need any type of customization, you’ll rip your hair out trying to get these idiots to comprehend anything.

   Design-o is an awful piece of software – absolutely convoluted and the plugin brings down wordpress performance on an otherwise very performant amazon S3 instance. The developers do not listen to input and only managed to half-assedly rectify issues after a lot a hand-wringing and endless meetings. I came back to my installation after three months and finally gave up on it. Save yourself the hassle.Further edit: It seems to me that the company does not fully stand behind their product, and their response to the above reads as follows:“it has come to our attention that your previous review was edited on 29th May, and the updated content includes remarks that could be interpreted as unfavorable.” This topic was modified 1 year, 7 months ago by mhartel.
