   Just want to save others some time here. I tested every free Bulk Discount Plugin I could find, and this is the only one that provided ‘Category specific rules’ in the free version. The other plugins I tested were very limited to the point of being unusable for most use cases, without buying a ‘Pro Upgrade’.    The only free plugin wich supports rolebased prices without bugs. Other Plugins are not working well with variants (only in PRO-Versions supported) and/or chained products (price not correct in the basket) and it is not possivble to watch all dicounts on one site or in the product list. With this Plugin all this is supported.

   Open resources and free! It is best to do any discounts, including category discount that others always charged at least $50 per year!!! Another reason I prefer is its back end and front end is so simple that it can prevent from any bloating css and js to slow down my site. That’s the point I always write code to eliminate the unnecessary plugins. Anyway, It is adequate for most e-commerce site. Currently I haven’t found any bugs. Hope it can continue to update!
