How it's measured →1.6%
of downloads still active
At least 4K of 244.8K lifetime downloads are still running, in line with its category: the median eCommerce plugin keeps 1.4%, across 5,166 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other eCommerce plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 5 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

What to do about it
- One page off on “downloadable”. #15 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.
- “no checkout” isn't earning a slot. You list it, but you're not in the first 24 results for that search. WordPress.org counts only your first five tags, so free the slot for a search you can win.

I’ve been using this plugin for four years and love it. Their support is awesome – Pete was super responsive and took care of an issue quickly. Thank you so much!

Simply put, this plugin doesn’t do what it says it will do. It’s supposed to work out of the box. I have tried troubleshooting this for hours to no avail. I reached out to support and they just ignore their users. Find another plugin!

The idea of this is what I need for my application however the plugin has issues. It does not appear to work correctly if the files are not stored in the web root directory. I have mine at server level and while Woo Commerce has no real issues with this and it is even suggested for security reasons, this plugin has problems. Additionally, I also find that if you have hundreds of downloadable items this plugin will slow down the whole site if a user has many available to them, seems every single page load needs to poll the state of every order or something because pages in my case will take about 1 minute to load on a test account, no issue if this plugin is disabled. Have been trying to get the developer to assist but have emails and posts unanswered for weeks at a time and basically no interest to help users who have websites to design so if time is important to you, i’d suggest not wasting it with this plugin.

Amazing tool! saved me alot of tinkering. Works as described and better. If I had one wish it would be control the colour and font of the button the shows in the general shop page. Right now it inherts the colours from the theme which is fine but having more control is always better. Keep it up guys?

Highly recommend WP Enhanced for their support to me. They helped track down the issue (which was on Mailchimp side) and were fast to respond. The plugin works great, and I am very happy to have picked WP Enhanced for their super support.

Hi, I want to hide the download button from products belonging to a specific category, and open it only for visitors from a specific country. Can you help me how to do it?Category ID: 1665, 1456Country: IR

i have been using this plugin for a couple of years and the only reason it doesn’t work is if your theme is not compatible or has missing code. If it does not work, try a couple of other themes first.
