Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

Mixed PraiseFeature requests

Most reviewers say it does one job well and does it fast, filling in missing featured images across old posts, though a couple want post-type and default-image options and one recent reviewer rejected it outright over the custom code it asked for.

That’s exactly what I DO NOT WANT TO DO. Many years ago, I had an installation which required custom code. It was a pain to maintain.

Very nice, simple, super effective plugin. It would be nice to set a default image as a “no image here” like image if no images are in the post.

Great plugin that does what it says, adds featured images from the first image in each post when a featured image hasn’t been set. Easy Peazy. Helps tremendously with magazine themes and others that expect a featured image. Thanks for the excellent plugin!

Started a new blog last week and since neither my active theme nor my backup theme have thumbnail generation capability, I needed a plugin to do that task. Tried one or two of the others, but they didn’t work. Gave this one a whirl and voila! Post thumbnails in a matter of seconds. So far it’s working great and I thank you so much for making this available to the WP community!
