High removal-risk signals
63/100Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.
- Long abandoned. No update in 11+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
- Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 4.2.39, well behind 6.8.

Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.
Release cadence

What its installed base runs
via wordpress.orgShare of active installs on each version of this plugin · 100% run the current release. Green is the current release; a big slice on older versions is a user base that has stopped updating.

The public count shows “300+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.

Estimated value
What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.
Est. annual revenue
Est. acquisition value
No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

Some features. like filtering do not work https://wordpress.org/support/topic/filter-unattached-does-not-seem-to-work, but otherwise it is a very useful plugin.

This plugin conflicts with Advanced Image Styles plugin. https://wordpress.org/support/topic/conflicts-with-file-un-attach-plugin The idea of the plugin is good, but the author didn’t bother to reply to the show stopper bug I reported 3 months ago. I am very disappointed.

works great. when unattaching a file it automatically uploads the “gallery” count in real time without reloading. same for attaching a file. very easy and intuitive to use. thank you!

Very easy to use and make possible something that WP should elementary have.

It’s rather dumb that I have to get a plugin to un-attach media in the first place, but that’s a WP shortcoming (which people have complained about for years now). This plugin will let you un-attach your media as advertised, just like the other two (at least) plugins out there. But if you have a lot of media to un-attach, you will be clicking all night. Not one plugin lets you un-attach more than one. 3/5 for doing the bare minimum and overlooking the obvious. Frustratingly, lack of batch functionality is a limitation I run into frequently in the WP world.
