Foobar is a good plugin for adding simple notification bars, announcements and call to action bars to websites. The admin interface makes it very easy to set up. Just what you need in terms of settings to get started. The pro version allows you to go further for those who earn money with their websites

We were using another notification bar plugin before and it produced an impressive amount of new bugs with every release. After fixing some of them on our own, we decided to try out this one. It’s simple, easy, and most importantly, does the job (Has the customization option as well, which I just loved). I’m pretty surprised to see this low amount of active installations tbh. Anyway, keep up the good work guys.

Allows several layout, appearance, and visibility options with ability to have link and/or button in notification bar. Configuration is simple with straightforward admin panel. This is really all you need for a notification bar. From the developers of Foo Gallery, another plugin I highly recommend.

Foobar is great little plugin for adding simple notification bars, announcements and call to action bars to websites. The admin interface makes it very easy to set up notification bars and have them appear on one or more pages using the provided shortcode. For a first version of the plugin it already has a very good number of features and having chatted with the development team I know there are many more new features and improvements on the way. Highly recommended!
