Getwid is awesome! If you expecting something like Elementor, you may be disappointed. You still need skills to write a few lines CSS and edit theme.json. That’s exactly what I want!

I like this plugin a lot. I used it on 100’s of WP’s so far. Never ran into a single issue. Except, the AI-block does not work for me. Probably it only works in the US. But apart from that, it helps to create very nice WP sites. I like the animations and caroussels most. They offer that extra pinch naked Twenty-themes never come with. Love it. From all the current block plugins (and I tested out more than 25 in dec 2024) GetWid stands out in one aspect that no other plugin offers. In an existing block theme / FSE environment, all style information like layout, colors and font information is picked up by GetWid instantaneously and seamlessly. No hassle at all. Making beautiful stuff is a breeze! Highly recommended.

As an LTE owner of another block plugin, I only use the Image Hotspot block and disable all other Getwid blocks. But this one is the best one I’ve found in the last year. I use it mainly in text with screenshot explanations, where it works great. The only thing I miss is the ability to number the points from one to ten (1,2,3,4,5,…,10) because that would make it easier to create a step-by-step guide with text hints. I was looking for a timeline plugin and came across this. I love the way you can turn off blocks you don’t need. It’s brilliant!

We’re using the GetWid blocks to show a table. It stopped working after the recent WordPress update. All the posts that used the table freeze and you can’t edit them or update them. It makes it impossible to edit in WordPress. Now we have to manually replace all the tables and do them again.
