High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 5+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 4.9.31, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

On installing I get told I don’t meet the system requirements. The Google Authenticator plugin must be installed and activated. (It is) PHP 5.2.4+ (You’re running version 5.6.31) (It’s telling me I’m running a later version of PHP) WordPress 4.4+ (You’re running version 4.9) (And I’m running the latest version of WordPress)

Installing this plugin makes logging into my WordPress website just like logging in my Gmail when hooked up to the Google Authenticator app on my Android phone. I appreciate the extra security. Thank you!

Can confirm this works in WP 4.4. IMO, a necessary addition to the great Google Authenticator plugin. Thanks!

Really great plugin, along with the google authenticator plugin. The split in to a second screen for authenticator prompt is a great idea. I can use the MacOS built in password remember again, that did not work for me with only the authenticator plugin installed. Thanks, for your great work.
