High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 9+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 4.7.35, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

Has it’s glitches, but it does the job. It successfully transfers the text and linked images, but linked images had invalid links in terms they include the Get Simple website domain in front of the WP image link, so if we have an image on the GS website (let’s call it gs.com) that is named image.jpg, the link to it on the WP website (let’s say it’s wp.com) is transferred as “gs.comwp.com/wp-content/uploads/07/image.jpg It also haven’t transferred the links to .pdf files I had set on the images. Anyway, by my test it does simplify the job to some level (most importantly it transfers the images and pretty much links them. Maybe they will be regularly linked when the domain is the same. I’ll do the edit once I do the transfer on the real website).
