High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 9+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 4.6.30, well behind 6.8.

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

How wonderful to get reverse chronological back in searches rather than relevancy. THANKS.

After spending 12+ hours testing other plugins and trying to make them work the way I wanted, I stumbled upon this one. Thank goodness! I am appalled that this plugin is on page 5 of WordPress search. It should be on page 1, as it was more useful than many other super popular plugins I tried to use. It goes to show that popularity does not equal efficacy. There are some things that could be done better, like a shortcode to insert it anywhere, including in theme files, based on custom fields and post types. But, this is not the end of the world. I agree with the other poster that this should be include in native WordPress Search, which pales in comparison to this. Thank you for making this free. 5 stars.

After looking through several improve wordpress search plugins I found this one which is what I was looking for. Simple, light, and easy to use. Enable stopwords, search by tags/categories, match at least one term in the search. Hope they can add exclude specific pages from search option. Edit: Update: After giving the plugin fair use over a period of time there are some bugs(which I have mentioned in support tickets) that need to be worked out in the plugin & def room from improvement. If they work those bugs out this plugin would be perfect.

After trying out a variety of frustratingly complex WP search plugins, I stumbled upon this one. I’m so glad I did – it is perfect for my needs! I just wanted to be able to make taxonomy values searchable, and this JUST WORKS. Allows for sorting by relevancy and term highlighting too, which are bonuses. I can’t sing its praises highly enough!
