How it's measured →0.4%
of downloads still active
At least 10 of 2.8K lifetime downloads are still running, below its category: the median Uncategorized plugin keeps 0.6%, across 17,782 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Uncategorized plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.

I’ve been working a lot with the WordPress REST API lately, and Hello Beautiful is now my go-to plugin when I need to test the plugins endpoint. 1. It’s a nice simple plugin without side effects so you can install/activate/deactivate as much as you need to when developing. 2. When my code works to successfully install the plugin via the REST API, I’m rewarded with a positive message in my dashboard. Nice job, Michelle!
