   I’ve been using the WP Armour – Honeypot Anti Spam plugin for some time now (both the free and pro versions). It is one of the best, if not the best anti-spam plugins. The latest release of the pro plugin, which adds the ability to block specific words (especially useful for Ninja Forms), has taken the plugin to a new level and is extremely helpful for those submissions that aren’t the typical type of spam (e.g. looking for backlinks) but instead are trying to post messages saying they can promote or review a product etc, even when the form states it isn’t for that purpose. I would highly recommend the WP Armour – Honeypot Anti Spam plugin, not only does it do an excellent job of blocking spam, the pro version now allows you to block specific words AND it’s also GDPR compliant.
