How it's measured →4.0%
of downloads still active
At least 4K of 100.2K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Privacy & Consent plugin keeps 2.1%, across 502 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Privacy & Consent plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 5 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

wp.org is where the directory puts the plugin for that search. On merit is where it would sit if results were ranked on rating, support and updates, without the install boost. The last column is how far the wp.org position moved, from our first reading in the last 90 days to the latest.

| impressum your tag | #1 | #2 | 0 |
| imprint your tag | #4 | #3 | 0 |
| legal notice your tag | #12 | #21 | down 2 |
| privacy policy generator | #19 | #22 | down 1 |
| privacy policy your tag | Not in the top 24 | ||
17 searches this plugin appeared in over the last 90 days, 4 listed. 13 left out as unrelated or noise (years, numbers, stray words). 1 of its tags isn't in the top 24 for their own search.
What to do about it
- One page off on “legal notice”. #12 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.
- “privacy policy” isn't earning a slot. You list it, but you're not in the first 24 results for that search. WordPress.org counts only your first five tags, so free the slot for a search you can win.

Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Das Plugin ist komplette Zeitverwendung. Braucht man noch nicht einmal ausprobieren. 15 Minuten meiner Zeit verbrannt weil jemand diesen Quatsch in den Pluginstore hochgeladen hat.

This plugin enables me to manage my imprint information at one central place and it takes care when legal requirements in Germany change, so I get notified to update my imprint information.

Finger weg Rausgeschmissen Geld. Hab IMPRESSUM Plus gekauft.

Whenever I set up a new website, first thing I do is to add a page for imprint and privacy policy. With this plugin I don’t have to detour to one of the usual imprint generators and can directly insert all necessary information into the input fields of the plugin. The input masks are well structured, everything is clear and simple. That Impressum “will update your legal texts either on it’s own or asks for your help if the changes can’t be made automatically” (as the readme claims) is an excellent service. Amazing, that this is free for freelancers. With an additional option field to “show a little love” I would be happy to add a link to the plugin to my webpages.

Everything works exactly as promised and the support is excellent. With this plugin you are on the safe side regarding German imprints. This topic was modified 7 years, 10 months ago by Dennis Hipp. Reason: Change language to English
