High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 6+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 5.2.26, well behind 6.8.

Est. acquisition value

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

Have used this plugin without problems for a couple of years on a site and there was suddenly an odd problem I couldn’t fix. I contacted the developer from within the plugin interface and had a response immediately. Jason was very helpful in looking for and finding the solution. He was able to provide a fix and build it into an upcoming update. In my experience this type of support for a free and excellent plugin is rare and very much appreciated. Thank you very much!

IntelliWidget is a wonderful plugin. It’s lightweight and super useful. I also recommend the pro version from the dev website. It’s even better 🙂 Keep it up Jason, and thanks for the fix today.

We have searched pretty much everywhere for a similar plugin before finding Intelliwidget and nothing could compare. In fact there’s nothing similar on the market per se. The plugin is super simple, works like a clock, and is very easy to install and implement. We’ve been using it for almost 2 years now and are very happy with it. We had an issue recently after deleting the plugin by accident – we contacted the provider and he was not only extremely helpful, he also responded literally within the first half an hour, upon us contacting him. He then spent a good part of his Saturday fixing our code issue. And for that we are supremely grateful! Wish every developer was just as amazing! Thank you again so much.

Intelliwidget is exactly what I have been looking for. It is simple to use, but has outstanding powerful features.

I decided against this because it really doesn’t do so much compared to what is in there. I wound up using Genesis Featured Posts instead since I already created sidebars in php.
