Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

low confidence

Est. annual revenue

≈$110 range $25–$520

Est. acquisition value

≈$220 range $38–$1.3K

A small install base leaves thin data to model from. A declining trend compresses what a buyer would pay. The range spans more than 10x because wp.org publishes install counts as broad bands, and conversion and price compound on top. Read the midpoint as an order of magnitude, not a valuation.

How we estimate this

Assumptions

  • Free → paid conversion. 0.5%–2% of active installs pay for the pro tier. Typical for freemium WordPress plugins; the real rate varies a lot by product.
  • Annual price per customer. $49–$129 a year, typical for WordPress plugins rather than this plugin's own pricing.
  • Acquisition multiple. 1.5x–2.5x annual revenue, the going range for small WordPress-plugin businesses, compressed because the install trend is declining.
  • Install base. 100–200 active installs, from our install estimate (wp.org only publishes the floor).

Revenue is installs × conversion × price; value is revenue × a typical acquisition multiple. Every factor is an assumption band, so the output is a wide range on purpose. If you're buying or selling, treat this as a starting point for due diligence.

I had to change the status of over 1000 posts and this plugin made it easier than the built-in functionality. Updated them all in no time at all.

Thank you, the plugin works, performs its functions. It is very convenient to edit posts when there are a lot of them on the site.

The support is incredibly rude. I made the mistake of purchasing the plug-in and it crashed my site. Took them three or four days to respond to my messages. By that time I was uninterested in using the plugin. I asked for a refund. They proceeded to berate me at that point. They kept demanding that I allow them onto my server to do testing. Which I have no time to do that. Then they got really rude with me. They told me that I’d have to wait over a week to get a refund and that this is my problem for not reading the refund policy. Worded in a very rude manner. After a few times going back and forth with me threatening to do a dispute, they said they would provide the refund in 24 hours. Then from there he starts sending hateful messages to me that were absolutely unnecessary. So hateful they read like they were written by a 13 year old. I even told them to stop messaging me at that point to just provide the refund and quit with the berating me. They would not stop they had to have the last word. I ended up escalating it to their merchant support due to how rude and unprofessional they are. I was floored by their communications. I have never dealt with such rude customer service before. After that I’m glad I made the choice to not move forward with allowing them to do testing because they have shown that they are incredibly unprofessional.
