Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

The plugin hasn’t been updated in two years, but haven’t experienced any issues and it looks like the developer is actively responding to forum. Works really well and is very useful if creating a counter with unique variables! Haven’t found any other plugin that does this yet. Hope the developer will continue to support this again. Many thanks for its creation. This topic was modified 8 years, 6 months ago by offpeakdesign.

Counter zählt nicht richtig, muss immer nachgestellt werden. Leider keine Redaktion vom Support, aber Spenden wollen sie haben für dieses schlechte Programm. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Don’t get me wrong: this is the perfect counter! Good documentation and a really dedicated Developer. If you use it, consider a donation, since there really is nothing like it out there. So why the 4 stars? The one issue I am having is the non-responsiveness of the counter size. The only possibility I see to prevent negative impacts on your SEO is to have it hidden on mobile, for example with the “.hidden-xs” css class. Other then that, maybe a little optimisation on performance with JS and CSS.

Thanks a lot for this awesome plugin. I wanted a counter counting down towards a specific date. Achived that with shortcode: [jellyfish_counter digits=2 digit_height=90 digit_width=73 digit_padding=1 start=5 end=0 direction="down" digit_style="font-family:Arial,Verdana,Sans-Serif; font-weight: 700; padding-top:2px; font-size:72px; background:#efefef; color:black;" timestamp="2015-01-08 12:00:00" interval=86400 ] + some cosmetics modifications to the shadows in the plugins css If you modify hack a bit of CSS on your own, you can get it looking exactly like you wish. I for instance wanted black letters on white’ish background and achived that in 20 mins. Dev you might consider cooking option for standard black on white’ish look into the plugin.

This is great plugin however the way JS and CSS is mangled together prevent you from moving JS in to the footer. I have 6 of them on the same page that means the same JS running 6 times. If I move JS to the footer counter wont show up at all because it needs that JS loaded to pull in css for rendering the counter. I guess by separating the JS and CSS this could be a 5 star.
