High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 12+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 3.9.40, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

it is the best one yet! It works the best by keeping all of those messy multi-level nested comments and replies nice in neat. I love the simple “show comments”, and “Hide comments” It works perfect! Other more advanced plugins can not seem to do what this simple plugin does. They all look messy where this plugin makes your conversations neat and easy to read/understand. I only wish that the original plugin author would come back here and keep this plugin up to date. It would be a shame if it stopped working in future releases.

What a great plugin! The amount of times I’ve thought to myself, “if I could just hide all those damn replies so the page isn’t so messy”. Thanks @doodlebee, you rock!

The plugin will work and do as says, but it’s heavy and doesn’t integrate well with all themes — it will alter your comment layout causing you to do a lot more styling just to get back to normal. I did a lot of research and found this. USE THIS METHOD INSTEAD. Works absolutely perfect and uses very little code. Integrates seamlessly. http://devgrow.com/simple-threaded-comments-with-jcollapsible/ Thanks!
