High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 12+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 3.9.40, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

I’ve tried this on a couple of different themes to no avail — simply installing the plugin (with no other plugins installed) will throw the server into a palsy with: HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request. I’ve tried this with two different themes, two different servers, no other active plugins. What can I do to help fix this? I love the svbtle designs and I think a good plugin for kudos would be a real winner — but it has to work.

Hi, I implemented the Kudos on my site, doidos.com.ar. You should work on make it easier for non devs to use it in their site and provide documentation on the Shortcodes / Functions. It was a puzzle to solve how to call the function to display the Kudos as wanted! What I would add: – A shortcode to show Kudos on pages/post/custom post types/templates Thanks and go on!
