High removal-risk signals
63/100Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.
- Long abandoned. No update in 13+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
- Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 3.5.2, well behind 6.8.

Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.
Release cadence

What its installed base runs

The public count shows “400+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.

Estimated value
What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.
Est. annual revenue
Est. acquisition value
No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

Just installed to my 4.5.2 and it worked great then upgraded to 4.5.3 and still works wow after years of no updates it’s still working. Glad I gave this a try. Would be cool if author came back and adjusted the update/close button to be on the same line as the normal update button so it takes up less room but still great pluggin.

Used to have Save & Close button in Joomla and was very frustrated, when none was found in WordPress. This little plugin helped me restore my belief in humankind. Thank you! P.S.: Works perfectly on WP 4.5.2 despite that it hasn’t been updated for quite a while.

Very helpful little plug-in. This should be part of the WordPress core anyway. However, to earn a 5 star rating the support of media elements would be necessary (not only posts and pages).

A minor misplacement in close button but nothing too bad. So far working flawlessly.

Took a bit of a gamble on WP4, but works great! I’ll keep this as it makes content production so much smoother.

When Plugin is activated and button “Update and close” is clicked in the ACF Plugin (Advanced custom fields), ALL FIELDS ARE BEING DELETED INSTANTLY. Destroyed my entire home page.
