Biggest opportunity: Swap “custom” for “modified time”. “custom” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “modified time” sits at #7 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →4.4%
of downloads still active
At least 10K of 228.9K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Uncategorized plugin keeps 0.6%, across 17,778 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Uncategorized plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 2 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

wp.org is where the directory puts the plugin for that search. On merit is where it would sit if results were ranked on rating, support and updates, without the install boost. The last column is how far the wp.org position moved, from our first reading in the last 90 days to the latest.

What to do about it
- Swap “custom” for “modified time”. “custom” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “modified time” sits at #7 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.
- Slipping on “time”. Down 5 places since 2026-09-21, now #19. Check what shipped around then, and what moved above you.

Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Nice simple plugin that works well. Unfortunately it includes an upsell notice unrelated to the plugin on each admin screen.

I would like to give 5 stars but it wasn’t compatible with every template. I use premium theme and all my post date become 5 days ago even when i’ve just post in a minute ago. Please fix this. 1 star for now. Thanks before.

I would like to thanks developpers of this plugins, which works very well with extra theme from elegant theme. Is it very simple to use and efficient. I wonder however if it supports caching ? will there be future update for the latest releases of wordpress ? my site is running on a litespeed server.NB: it is the only plug-in i know which does that job…

I’m gonna give it 1 star for the time being because it’s neither compatible with custom themes nor seems to be any support. whenever you fixed the issue just let me know and I’ll promote ! Update: I just noticed that ClassiPress has it own time ago system and Meks Team helped me to fix some issues. I’m gonna give it 5 stars for their support ! Hi, I just want to share my thoughts on this one. 🙂 Plugins is very easy to install and setup, it deserves 5 start for sure. I would only recommend moving its setting from General settings page to some more visible spot inside admin navigation.

Me gusta mucho, aunque realmente pienso que WordPress debería incluir ”de serie“ una función para activar esto.
