Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

medium confidence

Est. annual revenue

≈$11K range $2.5K–$52K

Est. acquisition value

≈$32K range $5K–$210K

Modeled from public signals only; the real figure depends on pricing and conversion we cannot see. The range spans more than 10x because wp.org publishes install counts as broad bands, and conversion and price compound on top. Read the midpoint as an order of magnitude, not a valuation.

How we estimate this

Assumptions

  • Free → paid conversion. 0.5%–2% of active installs pay for the pro tier. Typical for freemium WordPress plugins; the real rate varies a lot by product.
  • Annual price per customer. $49–$129 a year, typical for WordPress plugins rather than this plugin's own pricing.
  • Acquisition multiple. 2x–4x annual revenue, the going range for small WordPress-plugin businesses, the typical range for a steady plugin.
  • Install base. 10K–20K active installs, from our install estimate (wp.org only publishes the floor).

Revenue is installs × conversion × price; value is revenue × a typical acquisition multiple. Every factor is an assumption band, so the output is a wide range on purpose. If you're buying or selling, treat this as a starting point for due diligence.

MIcrothemer is an amazing plugin!I’m genuinely mind-blown by how someone could program something so ingenious. While I struggle to style a simple button or table, this CSS God has built an entire tool! Hats off to you sir , I’m truly in awe of your skills!

One of the best CSS styling plugins to use in combination with page builders. There are often times functionalities that needs to be done outside of the builder, but integrated into the overall site as a short code, or custom code and this is where Microthemer really shines. It allows me to tweak and style those elements to match the overall style of the theme and is absolutely fantastic in styling different components that has been integrated/glued together, but still produce the same look & feel. Great developer, awesome community – 11 out of 10, would whole-heartedly recommend.

Before I discovered Microthemer I used to write custom CSS code, which was okay, but it was very time-consuming to find the exact CSS classes to modify. With Microthemer (Targeting mode turned on) it is very easy to find and change the CSS I need, and I can make simple changes like color, border, position, spacing, sizes etc. and even more advanced stuff like animations within seconds. I needed to modify the standard WooCommerce checkout page and here Microthemer really shines, it took me no time to modify all the things I needed. Great user interface, a lot of features and superb performance. The best part, it is non-destructive because you can easily reset the changes you have made, and all the changes is saved in a separate stylesheet. I used to write custom CSS code in the theme customizer, which is OK for a few small changes, but not for serious CSS coding. MicroThemer is a huge improvement for developers, but it makes styling also easier for people who don’t know much about CSS. It offers a great user interface, a comprehensive feature set and a stunning performance. MicroThemer has become one of my most important tools for styling WordPress websites.
