High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 11+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 3.5.2, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

After install there is no MK slider tab in >Settings. Therefore I cannot use it.

I was looking for couple of hours until I found MK Slider. It does EXACTLY what I need. You can make as many sliders as you want, with different dimensions, effects, custom loaded CSS files and content. It can work as a banner rotator, slider or anything really. Because of the easy PHP implementation you include it in awesome conditions to appear and how it should behave. You can place them anywhere because of the shortest shortcode I have seen for a slider. Maybe I am talking about obvious things for some people but really, I have checked numerous “top xx sliders for wordpress 2013” rankings and MK Slider was not there, don’t know why… Way better than e.g. Nivo Slider or Meta Slider that are too complicated to be honest with their shortcode structure. This works best, I use it on 4 sites already. Keep it up man, your plugin is awesome!
