Biggest opportunity: Swap “gateway”, “payment” and “woocommerce” for “pay now”, “africa” and “paynow”. “gateway” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “pay now” sits at #13 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “payment” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “africa” sits at #15 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “woocommerce” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “paynow” sits at #18 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →4.8%
of downloads still active
At least 300 of 6.3K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Payments plugin keeps 1.0%, across 1,042 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Payments plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 3 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

We approached Netcash, from onboarding to after support has been fantastic. Working with us at Overhex Wines and pushing our online store shipnsip.co.za they have just been the best. Service team and account managers always keeping us in the loop of what is happening. Seamless transfers and most of our clients finding paying so simple.

I’ve been using Netcash as my payment service provider for my company Mhlave (Pty) Ltd, trading as GoDrive, and the integration with WooCommerce has been seamless and incredibly beneficial. The variety of payment options they offer is impressive, including credit and debit card, instant EFT with Ozow, Capitec Pay, Bank EFT, Scan to Pay, Visa Click to Pay, and my personal favorite, retail payment. This flexibility has made transactions convenient for my customers and streamlined my operations. What stands out the most is the reliability and ease of use of the retail payment option. It’s become the preferred payment method for many of my customers, and I’ve seen a significant increase in completed transactions since implementing it. I do have a couple of suggestions for improvement. First, while the S Code retail payment option is great, it currently only works at Shoprite. Expanding this to include other retail stores like Pick n Pay, Boxer, etc., would be fantastic, as some clients are skeptical about sharing their banking details online. Additionally, although this is outside the WooCommerce scope, it would be beneficial to support smaller, unregistered businesses. This could provide a platform for underdog businesses to thrive. Overall, Netcash’s service is by far the best I’ve encountered. Their robust features and reliability have made managing payments much simpler and more efficient. I highly recommend their service to any WooCommerce user looking for a reliable and versatile payment solution. Full Name: Dolphas Xijongi Sithole
