   Tested and working Jan 2025 with the latest version of wordpress. KYC process with OpenNode is extensive and painful but once complete, this is a great plugin for accepting payments in Bitcoin and lightning. I with OpenNode provided users with a LNURL address, not having that hampers our ability to use their platform.If you want to skip the KYC nonsense, get BTCPay Server.

   If you’re thinking about accepting bitcoin for your site, this is the plug-in to choose. This is much better than any other bitcoin plugin on WordPress because OpenNode gives me the ability to accept bitcoin instantly. I never have to worry about chargebacks – which is huge for my business. I have no tech background and was able to get this hooked up to my site in a few minutes. During the process I got mixed up with denominations and how I was pricing my products in BTC (bitcoin) but the OpenNode support chat got back to me within a few seconds to help me out. I highly recommend OpenNode for anyone thinking to accept bitcoin.
