   This plug-in installs correctly on WP 4.0, although the instructions aren’t too clear : you have to install the auth_wpbb.php before to configure PHPBB3 options, and not the inverse. Once everything is setup, it works correctly, but it doubled or even tripled the CPU usage of my site (which mostly comes from my PhpBB3 Forum usage), so I had to remove it. Note: the extra plugin WPBB to publish posts from WP to PhpBB3 seems to be broken.

   I got all the latest versions working together. I left the ‘posting.php’ and ‘functions_users.php’ un-patched since they don’t seem to be necessary for user authentication. I assume they are for the WP2BB functions. 4 Stars because it could use better documentation.

   Finally after trying nearly EVERY SSO/bridge solution something that works as intended! Only 4 stars because it seems that users only get created on phpbb but not on WP if the user already exists. But that’s only a minor problem. Thank you & Great work! edit: had a wrong path in my config – works flawlessly! 5*

   It works fine for me. I am using WP 3.5.1 with a video template and only one Plugin (Plug: Page Links to). BUT it seems that WP-SSO only works with Forumsoftware – phpBB 3.0.10! In phpbb 3.0.11 I had fatal errors. But okay, i dont need 3.0.11. Many Thanks to the Developer: onigoetz
