   While it appears that this is a free plugin – and it SAYS it’s a free plugin, I installed it on my site, activated it, and when I clicked it said “It’s all installed, go to your dashboard” at which point I was to choose a plan ranging from $9.95 per month upward. Discouraging. I’ve deleted it now. I’m disappointed not to even be able to try it – I might have been willing to pay for it, but not without knowing if it would handle what I need. Irritating all the way around.

   There is absolutely nothing free about this plugin other than using your time to install it. It says ‘Popify is the best free tool for Social Proof’ However, as soon as you install it, you have to pay to set it up $14 a month. Which isn’t much, but it’s the principle of misleading one to believe that some functionality would be free to try it out. The button to go to dashboard doesn’t work – you get 404.
