Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from. The recent download trend is too spiky to read.

this plugin is perfect when you have more than 1 site to update. of course it needs a lot of stuff to add like schedule, author, etc. congrats to the author.

Thanks for this. I’m 50/50 as to whether I prefer the new 4.2 Press This or the old version. With the 4.2 I find myself having to open the tabs to change categories etc. There was also several bit of functionality I don’t like and was about to start hacking the source to make some changes and thought I had better to a quick check in the plugin store and found this which is a much better approach. Just wanted to say thanks and am looking forward to more functionality in future versions.

This plugin is nothing but goodness. It gives you some valuable knobs and switches to exercise granular control over the new Press This. I was able to use it to disable the default image retrieval, for example. I don’t want that because it results in my site having mixed content – I run sites that use HTTPS by default. I also changed the default post format to Link because I mostly post links with Press This. There’s things this plugin doesn’t do that I’d like it do, but it’s off to an impressive start. Like an answer to my prayers. Thanks, Brandon!
