Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

The first indication this plugin wasn’t going to be very useful was the Live Demo link leads to a 404 page and the video is for a totally different product. The description says more that 26 features can be customized. But that is only true in a Pro version. However, there is no information how to obtain a pro version or how much a license might cost. The only things that can be customized is the name of a status bar and a percentage number. There are 30 available templates – all of which appear to be considerably outdated in design – and they are limited to 3 or 4 skills. You are not able to add any more skills than the template already has. The ‘How to Use’ section of the plugin is only 4 YouTube instruction videos for the Service Box plugin. Nothing here for the Progress Skill Bar. If you want to use a progress bar graphic to explain your skills or experience, this won’t help you. As someone who hires developers, a percentage of a skill is only subjective and ridiculously worthless. Without a definition of a 100% skill level, any stated percentage doesn’t show ability or experience. My question is, ‘How many years of experience do you have?’ so that it what a progress bar should indicate. I am unable to get these 45 minutes back that I used to download, test, and write a review. Please, if you’re going to post something available for download, make sure it is complete and works as described.
